Training you can trust
Midas Care At interview stage all of our carers are subject to a CRB check, are checked against the SOVA list and must have two verbally verified references. Once accepted, successful applicants undergo a three-day induction course at a recognised training centre, covering topics such as Manual Handling, Basic First Aid, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene. A further two days training is then undertaken in-house, including guidance on company policies and procedures and medication training to comply with Local Authority Medication policy.

As well as implementing our own comprehensive training programme, we encourage all Midas carers to undertake a National Vocational Qualification in Care up to level III. Specialist training is also sought depending on the complexity of a condition and the level of care involved.

We are constantly looking at new courses to best qualify and equip our team in their day-to-day work. Our ambition is to continue to evolve and be the very best at what we do.
